After an exhaustive process that has absorbed hundreds of hours of work by a small and dedicated team of supporters, I regret to advise that the public capital raising by way of our IPO has fallen short of the targeted minimum level of subscriptions.
Obviously, I am disappointed, as are many of the supporters of this visionary, exciting and unique project.

Whilst an investment in the project was highly speculative, we believed that a small exposure to what promised to be a rare chance to share in automobile history was achievable for a sufficient number of investors to enable us to take the project to the public in this way.

A limited run of just 20 New Zealand-designed and built Hulme CanAm supercars ensures extreme rarity value.

The developers of the eagerly-awaited 200+mph Hulme CanAm Supercar, named in honour of New Zealand racing legend and F1 World Champion, Denny Hulme, have announced an attractive proposition for those wishing to purchase an option to order one of an extremely limited production run.

The Auckland based Supercar developer-manufacturer, Hulme Supercars, has launched a package which is designed to guarantee rarity value by offering options to purchase the total production run of just 20 Hulme CanAm supercars, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Close Up Video - Ready to Rumble

In January we had two different organisations film and display on the internet the car being driven on New Zealand race tracks. We appreciate their interest, but last night NZ TV 1 Close Up transmitted a great show on the project. Paul Henry takes a ride

Television personality and car buff Paul Henry accepted an invitation on Saturday 20th June for a quick ride in the Hulme CanAm. He was genuinely surprised at the quality, stability and comfort of our car. But most of all I think he enjoyed the sound of the air intake and engine just over his shoulder. Paul is keen to film and feature the CanAm on the Close-Up show on TV One. Watch this space!

What a fantastic afternoon we had on Saturday at Independent Prestige showroom on Great North Road, Auckland on May 30th. Lots of enthusiastic people and a spectacular and beautiful car - I know I am biased, but everybody said it was. We were very privileged to have the Auckland Mayor John Banks, who was going to be our first passenger, help with the unveiling. Unfortunately it was raining very heavily, so we were unable to go for a drive.

We started with Shayna DOUGHERTY, a daughter of one of our investors, lead us in singing our National Anthem, I then spoke for a short (fast speech) then Tony (our Chief Designer) gave a very informative and comprehensive slow speech before we had Graeme Carle, my pastor, bless the people involved in the project and the future ...

Denny Hulme Limited Edition Anniversary Print

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Denny's 1967 Formula One World Championship, we have produced 1,050 Limited Edition copies, each individually numbered and certified. The signatures of the 28 drivers who raced against him in Formula One between 1965 and 1974 were officially approved and enthusiastically supplied by each driver.

The Prints have the "Official Denis Hulme stamp", and are all personally signed by Denny's wife, Greeta Hulme.

The drivers are, Formula One World Champions: Jack Brabham; Phil Hill; John Surtees; Jackie Stewart; Emerson Fittipaldi; Niki Lauda; Mario Andretti; Jody Scheckter. In honour of Denny Hulme and subject to the approval of the management team of the A1GP Taupo, we are very pleased to announce that Chris Amon, the only surviving member of the famous trio of New Zealand motor sport greats of the 1960-70's, is excited to have the opportunity to drive the new Hulme CanAm at the Taupo meeting of the A1GP World championship of motor sport.

Celebrating Hulme's F1 World Championship in 1967 and the New Zealander's CanAm series victories in 1968 and 1970, the Hulme CanAm takes conceptual, engineering and styling cues from current Formula One and sports racing car technology.

For the last two years the Hulme supercar has been developed in secrecy, but now Hulme Supercars Limited is ready to show the world what it has been creating.
