Chassis Engineering Co-ordinator

Peter was born in Christchurch, but now lives in Auckland.

In 1988 he started Prestige Tyres, and over the years has built it up to include tyres, suspension, mechanical repairs and the Prestige Motorsports Centre.

Peter began his motorsports career at the age of 15, running a Mk 1 Ford Escort Rally car, from there he progressed to a Mk II Escort BDA, then moved up to a Mazda 323 4WD Turbo, with which he competed in the 1990 International Rally Of New Zealand.

In 1988 he switched to circuit racing and drove in 1992 with the late Dr Rodger Freeth as part of the CRC Ford Dealer Team. Working with Nissan NZ he developed the Pulsar into a powerful, front-running Touring Car and took out 3rd place over all, 1st privateer and 1st Front Wheel Drive in the 1996/97 NZ Touring Car Championship and 4th over all in 1997/98.

Peter's skills as a motorsport and performance engineer are well-known throughout New Zealand. He was responsible for building the Millen Maxima and Millen Primera Limited Edition cars for Nissan NZ. In addition, his Company has built many competition and performance road vehicles and set up various race, rally & targa cars for private customers.
